Our beautiful Japanese name necklace uses the Kanji Japanese script, but along its vertical axis, this is called Tategaki. So, your custom Japanese will feature your chosen word or name as a vertical rather than a horizontal pendant. Not only is the design beautiful in its own right, but the vertical orientation also gives a unique take on a classic personalised name necklace.  However, we also have the traditional horizontal if you love the flat style.

Whatever your chosen name, or word, we will create it in the Japanese writing style and craft it into the central pendant of solid metal. The words will be set to thin proportions with the width determined by the number of characters, ensuring the nameplate sits gently on your chest with no rubbing or scratching. The end characters of the word have two small loops that attach your chosen chain to the nameplate. Not only can you select from three different types of chains, but we also offer several different chain lengths. The chain is attached with a classic trigger clasp at the back, making it incredibly easy to adjust, put on or take off.

This item is made to order and requires a 2-4 week production shipping time, this could be longer depending on disruptions, public holidays and demand. Once production is complete, we will then ship your item. If you’re an overseas customer, this could take a little longer.

If you order this necklace along with other jewellery, all items will be sent out with the custom necklace upon completion. If you wish to receive your other items sooner, please place two separate orders.
